The brief

Express logistics brands are boring and lying.
This one isn't.

The goal was to build a logistics brand that earns trust through bold confidence rather than generic corporate compliance — one that feels fast, modern, and genuinely unshakeable.

The conventional approach to logistics branding leans heavily on corporate blue, formal language, and a general tone of reassurance. The insight here was that actual confidence doesn't reassure — it acts. The brand needed a voice and visual identity that embodied that principle at every touchpoint.

Every design decision, from the high-saturation colour pair to the deadpan copy, flows from that single brief.

Identity system

Logo, Typography & Colour

Colour

#FF7250

Outrageous Orange · Primary

Energy, speed, urgency. Distinctive within logistics — most competitors use blue alone. The orange creates immediate visual tension.

#0066FF

Blue Ribbon · Complementary

Trust, precision, technology. Anchors the orange's warmth with a cool counterpoint. Used for speed lines, accents, and UI elements.

#4A4A4A

Charcoal · Neutral

Professional weight without the coldness of pure black. Used for logotype, body copy, and structural elements.

Typography

Primary · Captions · Display

DELIVERED.
ON TIME.

Barlow — Bold · ExtraBold · Black. Used for all headlines, campaign copy, and variants of logotype.

Secondary · Body · Interface

Scheduled deliveries proceeding as normal.

Inter — Regular · Medium · Bold. Used for body copy, subcaptions, UI text, and supporting content.

Campaign

Any conditions. One outcome.

The 3D campaign renders the brand's promise literally: the Twist Express mascot truck — unchanged and on schedule — across every environment imaginable. Rain. Desert. Sub-zero. Volcanic terrain. Lunar surface.

Content strategy

A content strategy built around brand voice: deadpan confidence.

Each post in the social campaign expresses the same idea differently — no matter what's happening in the world, Twist Express is unaffected. The copy does the heavy lifting. The design keeps it grounded.

Real-time tracking

We don't say we're better. We show exactly how.

The "Them vs. Us" tracking comparison demonstrates the brand's specificity advantage — not through claims, but through detail. Every pixel of this post makes the argument without stating it.

Content series

Delivery Log

A recurring social content format. Destination, conditions, status. Always delivered. Always on schedule. The driver notes became the brand's most human — and most shared — touch.

Driver notes — the voice in action

"Wind was mid." · "Water level irrelevant." · "Suspension nominal." · "Air filtration nominal." · "Engine intake required manual purge post-delivery."

Five words per note, maximum. Each one communicates complete indifference to extraordinary conditions. This is the brand voice operating at its most precise.

Brand reach

Another country or right behind that corner

The brand scales from last-mile urban delivery to long-haul international freight — and the visual system works at both ends. The van and the semi share the same identity, the same confidence, the same colour.

Consistency across scale is one of the most difficult things to achieve in fleet branding. The Twist Express system was designed from the outset to work on both formats without modification.

Brand voice

The brand speaks like it delivers

  • Dry
  • Precise
  • Deadpan
  • Confident
  • Unshakeable

Twist Express is

  • "Breaking news: Not us."
  • "Temperature: sub-zero. Delays: even less than that."
  • "Status: Delivered. Time: On schedule."

Twist Express is not

  • "We're committed to ensuring your delivery arrives safely."
  • "Thank you for choosing Twist Express!"
  • "We apologise for any inconvenience caused."

App UI · UX/UI

The brand in your pocket

The Twist Express app brings the brand's core promise into a functional product interface. Colour tokens, type hierarchy, and motion language derived directly from the core identity. Dark mode by default — the brand has always lived in the dark.

Website · Framer

Identity extended into a live digital product

Typography hierarchy, colour application, and copy voice — consistent with the full brand system. Built in Framer. Available at twistexpress.framer.website.
